AN: Happy New Year, everybody. Hope you all had a good holiday season, and I wish you all the best this year has to offer. Anyway, this one is about Sparky and Wanda's friendship as I felt that there needed to be one for them as I've done a couple for Poof and one for him and Timmy, and they hardly had much screen time together as well. So I hope you like it.

And as much as I love FOP and Sparky I won't be writing too many stories for there's only so many ideas I have or wanna go with. It may feel like it's an early Valentine's Day one shot, but I didn't plan on writing it that way. Enjoy!

Disclaimer: I don't own The Fairly OddParents.

Sparky signed heavily while he gazed out through Timmy's bedroom window with one paw pressed against his cheek.

It was such a glorious day out there and here he was feeling awfully sad and lonely with no one to talk to. His beloved owner Timmy Turner and his fairies were at school with little miss Chloe Carmichael while Mr. and Mrs. Turner were gone out to do whatever they liked doing with their adult lives.

Either way, Sparky wasn't able to tag along with any of them since he was a dog, and no animals were allowed in school unless they were the class pet, or wherever Timmy's parents went. Probably the Cake 'N' Bacon or the spa or something. He wasn't sure of their location or when they'll be back. Knowing Timmy's parents they could be gone for hours.

Even though he had Timmy in his life now and they spent a lot of time together whenever they could, Sparky couldn't help but feel down somedays. Especially whenever he saw Timmy try to impress his love interest Trixie, or another girl he fell head over heels for. Or if he accidentally eavesdropped on Timmy's parents while they were around.

How he really thought that Peaches would make him the happiest doggy alive and make his life feel complete, but all he got in return was a huge crater inside his heart.

Everyone around him had found their love interest and he had nobody. When he saw other dogs hang out together at the park it hurt him deeply on the inside. All it did was made him feel empty and all alone.

Well, at lest he knew how his best friend Timmy had felt every single Valentine's Day when Trixie would reject him over and over again. It was true what they say: love hurts.

Just as he turned around to go downstairs into the living room to lie around and watch television he heard someone magically appear inside his owner's bedroom.

Immediately, he was able to tell who it was once the cloud of pink smoke had cleared. There was only one person he knew who had pink hair and carried a wand. The exact same person he once switched bodies with.

"Hey, Wanda. What are you doing here? Why aren't you with Timmy and the others at school?" Sparky sadly asked while he hung his head in sadness.

"Timmy wanted me to come see if you're alright. He feels bad about leaving you here all alone while he's at school, and he knows just how much you hate to be left out."

Sparky gave another sad sign while he kept his eyes on Timmy's bed, his voice filled with disappointment. "Yeah, okay."

"Sparky, are you feeling okay? What's wrong?"

"I'm okay, Wanda. I just really miss Peaches. Sure she may not of been very smart, but she was still so beautiful in my eyes."

Wanda flew over towards Sparky and gently placed a hand on his furry little shoulder.

"I'm sorry she broke your heart, sweetie."

"It's alright. I should of known that she wasn't into me. At lest I know how Timmy feels when Trixie rejects him. I even went as far as battling against Mr. Turner, and worn a suit made of meat in order to win her over. I guess I was just so desperate for her love. It really does make you do crazy things, huh?"

"Oh, you have no idea. Cosmo and my ex-boyfriend Juandissimo had been the same way for years. In fact, he's still not over me."

"Is that the guy Cosmo hit with a frying pan, and who was always trying to flirt with you by showing off his muscles?" Sparky stuck his tongue out with disgust.

"Yep."

"Wanda, did you ever have your heart broken by someone you fell in love with?"

Wanda sighed as she now sat down beside Sparky. She never told anyone else about her true feelings towards Cosmo and his insults. It was something she felt needed to remain a secret no matter how painful the hideous situation had been.

Besides, when she did try to talk she would only be ignored and they would only change the subject whenever it was ever brought up.

"Actually, yes. For the longest time before and even after Poof was born Cosmo been saying these really hurtful things about our marriage and me. He tried to shrug it off by saying that they were only just a joke, but I knew otherwise. I felt my heart crumble into fairy dust. That our love for each other had slowly began to drift away."

"Did he ever apologize for hurting you?"

"He did only to repeat it over and over again until I finally had enough. But after he took me to a nice romantic dinner to make up for it. And though things are much better between us now, I can still feel the scars his hateful words left behind deep down."

"What did he say?"

Wanda could feel her throat tighten as the words came to mind. Those ugly words that she absolutely hate to hear Cosmo say to her.

"He called me a nag and thought I was fat. Sometimes I have to think he loves that nickel of his, or even the Tooth Fairy more then me. Maybe even want a divorce so he could go ask her for her hand in marriage. I'm sure his mother would of loved that as she always loathed me."

Sparky cringed at the thought of that. Boy, and he thought Mr. Turner almost making him date Mr. Crocker's mother was terrible.

"Ouch, I'm really sorry to hear that happened to you."

"Yeah, so I do indeed know the feeling. Anyway, we all love you so much more then Peaches ever did, and don't you ever forget that. And I'm sure that one day you will find that special someone who loves you for who you are." Wanda explained as she gave him a little scratch behind one of his fuzzy ears.

He gave the pink haired fairy a kiss on the cheek and threw his arms around her hugging her tightly. Wanda was always the voice of reason in the family, and knew just what to do when someone she cared about was upset. Her motherly love was always there for them.

"Thanks for the pep talk, Wanda. You're such a good friend, and we're so lucky to have you in our lives."

She smiled at the little fairy dog and hugged him back.

"Anytime, honey. That's what friends are for."

After school Timmy came into the room along with Cosmo, Wanda, Poof, and Chloe. At the sight of them Sparky quickly jumped off the bed and gave the tween a sloppy welcome home kiss on his face showering him with his love.

"Timmy, I'm so happy that you're home from school! Did you die of boredom from Mr. Crocker's teaching?"

Timmy laughed and hugged his lovable pooch with a smile. "I'm so glad to see you too, boy. And yes, same as usual. All he ever talks about is his obsession with magical creatures and rather boring stuff."

"Pfft, what a loser. He really needs a life." Poof sneered.

"Now Poof, be nice. And I really don't appreciate that tone of yours, young man. I knew hanging out with Foop was a bad influence." His mother scolded with her hands on her hips.

"On the bright side, he's no longer trying to annihilate him now that he can speak full sentences." Cosmo pointed out.

"Still, and while Crocker maybe crazy, there were times where he was actually helpful."

"Name one time that crazy Mr. Cracker was ever helpful to us."

"It's Crocker, dear." Wanda corrected her husband.

"That's what I said, lollipop. Crazy Mr. Cracker." He repeated with a grin.

"Well, he did help Timmy find us after that secret wish he wasn't even supposed to make."

"Don't remind me. I'll never make another secret wish ever again." Timmy added as he let go of Sparky after his embrace.

"I'm glad to hear that,Timmy." Chloe chimed in with a smile then pulled out a little purple book out of her backpack to give Sparky.

"Sparky, we're sorry to hear that you were feeling down lately. So we all made you a little something to show just how much we care about you."

On the cover there was a picture of Sparky and a bunch of little red and pink paper hearts made of poorly cut tissue paper all around him. At the top in blue glittery letters it read: Our Pal Sparky.

"Poof had trouble with the scissors and glue. He really needs to improve with his arts and crafts." Cosmo said with a whisper in Sparky's ear while Poof just rolled his eyes at his father for it was Cosmo who had made the mess.

As he opened the book up, Sparky's vision became cloudy with tears as he gazed at all the photos of him and his fairly odd family.

"W-wow, this is so beautiful. Thank you. I love you guys so much. I will treasure it forever."

Everyone gathered around Sparky for a group hug with a warm smile.

"And we love you too, Sparky."
