"Mum, look over there-"

"What is it sweetheart?"

"Over there, behind all those red-heads"

"Yes. What am I looking at, dear?"

"That kid, he has blue hair, blue hair!"

After ten years of people pointing and staring and gaping with wide eyes and mouths, you would have though that Ted Lupin was used to it. If you did, you are certainly mistaken. Ted Lupin, otherwise known as 'Teddy' to his nearest and dearest, absolutely hated all the curious gazes. In reality, he just wanted people to accept that he preferred his hair an obscure aqua-marine.

So what did Teddy do when the inquisitive child had pointed him out? He simply turned around and gave him a cheeky wave.

"Mum, he just waved at me, the blue haired kid just waved at me!"

"Darling, I don't see any one with blue hair."

It seems that the mother hadn't noticed our Teddy. Maybe she couldn't see his postured figure amongst his cousins. Or maybe it was because, within seconds, he had camouflaged himself: Weasley-red was of course the new trend.

"But he was just there a second ago. I swear he was." The child craned his neck in desperation to prove his sanity.

Unable to resist, Teddy flashed his hair a bright turquoise with deeper streaks for a few moments.

"There he is. See mum, I told you. He's just there."

But just as quickly, the blue returned to the burgundy that matched Teddy's pale complexion.

"Sorry honey, I really don't see him." The exasperated mother sighed. Her son sure did have an overactive imagination.
