He laughs as they twirl about their small kitchen, the bubbling stew on the stove-top momentarily forgotten in the movements. He doesn't even remember why they started dancing but he knows he doesn't want to stop.
He loves seeing her smile. He loves to see the light shine through her wispy blonde hair as they move together.
She laughs with him as they twirl again, the skirt of her dress fanning around her slender legs. Her hand rests over the mark taken by a blinded teenager, but she pays it no mind. She loves him despite the mistakes he made.
