Backstory:
Hiccup's family is actually romans or perhaps English or Norwegian, who were bypassing by Berk, who were under attack by the Outcasts, and Hiccups parents were killed by Outcast's. Hiccup where only 3-5 years old and somehow it ends up with hiccup losing his leg and Gobber helps him, so he is using prosthesis already at a young age, so the later on you can't even tell that he is missing a leg, if it weren't for the fact you could see the prosthesis. I Has some idea with Hiccup living out in the forest, all by himself, and nobody know where, he finds Toothless at a younger age possible 12-13, then Toothless crashes in the woods near Hiccups cave, a hidden cave, he found on day then he where even younger, possible 6 or 7 years by accident, while running away from the bullies, and the cave is inside something like the cove from the movie, from the movie. The reason why Toothless crashed was because he had been hit be a bola, and he gets his left tail torn of. Hiccup finds him and hides him, form who shoot him down, and they becomes best friends, and Hiccup makes Toothless able to fly again.
Since Stoick doesn't have a son Snotlout us the heir to the village
Hiccup is still apprentice in the forge, even though he is already a better blacksmith then Gobber, with an eye for detail, and most of the weapons in the village are of his creation.
Hiccup isn't scrawny, nor burly, but actually muscular but doesn't show it, but still bullied by his peers, because of his prosthesis, and the fact he aren't from some proud Viking family, and as modest as Hiccup is he just let them get away with it, without fighting back or anything.
The story/what happens in the story:
Main event is this is, Astrid becomes interested in Hiccup, and tries to get to know him, cause, nobody really in the village knows him except for Gobber, so she tries to speak to him then he is in the village. And one day she tries to follow him then he is going into the woods, but quickly loses sight of him. And she keeps doing it to she eventually manages to follow him to his Camp, where she finds Hiccup and Toothless. And she starts coming often to the cove/cave to visit Hiccup and Toothless. Stoick somehow figures out how to find the nest, still using a dragon. Hiccup comes and saves them all from the Red Death. And after that, Hiccup is made to be the next heir, because Snotlout simply is too stupid.
