Yo guys. This is the Fang's birthday oneshot that I was talking about before. Since no one seems to know or car when Fang's birthday is, I'm just going to post these now.

Enjoy.

The Flock sat in various positions around the living room. Fang and Max sat next to each other on the couch, Angel sitting next to Max. Nudge and Gazzy sat in the recliners, and Iggy sat on the floor, leaning against the wall.

Fang closed his eyes and looked down, his hair falling in his face, as the Flock and Dr. Martinez sang "Happy Birthday" to him. They were off key and singing the same words at different times.

When they were finally done, a brightly wrapped present was thrust into his hands. It was small and rectangular.

Fag slid his index finger under the tape, staring intently at the gift to avoid looking at his family. He was embarrassed with all the attention, though no one would ever be able to tell by the way he acted. Max could tell, tough, because she knew her Fang inside and out.

Before he ripped the wrapping paper out of the way, Fang knew what was inside. An iPod. He had wanted one for a long time.

It was black, of course, and it was the new one that recorded video. A hint of a lopsided smile appeared on Fang's face as he said, "Thanks."

"It was mostly from Mom but we all pitched in," Max said, cuddling into Fang's side. "Here. These are from me."

Fang opened the box after ripping the paper off. There was a Post-It stuck to something black and shiny. He pulled it off, reading the words scribbled on it.

"Certificate For a Kiss?" Fang asked quietly.

"Iggy snickered and, without looking away from Max's eyes, Fang balled up the paper and threw it at his head. Iggy stopped laughing.

"Uh-huh," max said, a smile on her mouth. "Look at the other thing."

Fang looked away from her with some difficulty. He took out the black leather motorcycle jacket. He held it up, a half-smile lighting up his face.

"Try it on," Max said, holding the collar of the jacket he had on.

Fang took off his jacket, giving it to her as Max held out her hand. He slipped his arms into the new one, shrugging into the shoulders.

"Perfect," Fang whispered. "Thank you. All of you," he said a little louder.

"We still have one more!" Angel shouted, leaning over Max to shove the small package into Fang's lap.

He opened the box carefully, lifting the lid to reveal a black leather wrist cuff. It snapped together with a snap attached near the ends, and there were two wings stamped into the front.

Fang lifted it out and shoved his right sleeve up. He turned his arm over and snapped the wrist cuff on. He examined the wings curiously. They looked like hawk wings.

"We had it specially made," Iggy said.

"Thanks guys. I love it all," Fang said.

After awkward hugs, Fang and Max walked slowly to his room, hands linked.

Fangs et his iPod on his dresser, taking the crumpled Post-It out of his pocket and hiding it in his fist. He leaned against the wall, holding Max close and letting her lean against his chest.

She kissed him gently for a moment before whispering, "Happy birthday."

Fang smiled. "Thanks."

They kissed again, and Fang slid the Post-It from Max gently into her back pocket.

So I was hoping the end was going to be more romantic but it really wasn't.

I'll try to find picture of some of Fang's presents. If I do, I'll post them on my profile.

Review please.
