"Jarvis, what the hell are these things!?"

"I'm afraid I don't know, sir. They aren't any species I recognize."

On the other side of the lab, a large amount of metal made violent contact with the floor. Tony swore and hurried over to the area that the sound had come from. All he found was a broken computer monitor and scattered pieces of the prototype suit he'd been working on; the creatures that had sent the equipment to the floor were nowhere to be found.

"Where are they!?" Tony shouted.

In response, ACDC began blasting loudly enough to rattle the windows. Tony winced and Jarvis immediately switched off the music.

"I believe they've found the stereo system, sir."

"No shit," Tony muttered through grit teeth, running back across the room in time to hear laughter and a flurry of tiny footsteps headed towards his cars. "Where did they come from?" he asked. "Did Loki send them here?"

"I found no traces of Loki's magic. It appears they simply walked in."

"Walked in?" Tony repeated incredulously. "This entire floor is locked off, password protected!"

"They bypassed all security, sir."

"Of course they did." Tony threw his hands up in exasperation. "Did they say anything? Why they're here, what they're trying to do?"

"They seem to speak a language that I am unable to translate."

"Fantastic. Unknown species, unknown origin, unknown motive."

"Actually, sir, their current motive appears to be starting the Lamborghini."

Tony swore again and raced over to protect his precious cars. The Lamborghini's engine roared to life just as he wrenched open the door and got a good look at the things that had been wreaking havoc on his lab.

Three little yellow creatures in overalls and goggles stared up at him with big, brown eyes. One of them was on the floor with its hands hovering over the gas pedal and the other two looked like they had been in the middle of fighting over control of the steering wheel.

"Okay, what?"

One of the creatures on the seat said something to its partners. They all argued for a second, the one on the floor squinting at Tony while the other two pointed and gestured and eventually just started hitting each other. Then the squinting one went wide-eyed and gasped like it had realized something. It cried out excitedly, and its friends stopped bickering to watch it pretend to shoot rays from the palm of its hand and then point at Tony. All three of them began hopping up and down and giggling.

"Uh, Jarvis?"

"I think they recognize you, sir."

"Yeah…" Tony cocked his head, unsure of how to proceed. Of course he wanted to know what the things were, but he also wanted to keep his belongings in working order, which seemed a daunting task with the creatures anywhere in the vicinity. "Okay, little Twinkie monsters, I don't know what you are or how you got here, but let's get out of the car…"

The 'little Twinkie monsters' immediately sprang at him. Two latched onto his legs and the third got so worked up it fainted. They babbled animatedly in their gibberish language, absolutely ecstatic.

"Jarvis…"

"Going into sleep mode, sir. Good luck."
