Introduction

A man sat in a desk in the Ministry of Magic Headquarters in London. His long white hair falling behind the chair, his beard like a napkin in to his lap. His soft blue eyes were hidden behind his half-moon spectacles.

He looked up at the other men in the room. Not quite sure what they wanted. Oh, make no mistake, by what they were showing he could guess. But he wanted them to say it out loud before he made any decisions.

He spread those things, newspaper clippings, out on the table. They were all from the Daily Prophet, he remembered reading them as they were published, but he took his time, again, anyway. They Read:

Dark School of Witchcraft and Wizardry discovered! -You-Know-Who left a legacy, ThornNettles School of Witchcraft and Wizardry...

Dark Witch Trainee at School Defeats HeadMaster! -Student at TornNettles Leads revolt. Conquers Staff, leads fight for Werewolf Rights...

Students get Purged! -14 Prefects from ThornNettles taken to MoM London to be brought back to the Light. Expected to attend Hogwarts next term...

He looked up again at the other men in the office. Waiting.

A small man wearing horribly mis-matched Striped and Polka Dotted Robes, Cornelius Fugde, broke first, "Professor Dumbledore... I'm not sure how to say this..." The man looked to his partner in the room.

The White blonde man stepped foreward and Dumbledore recognized Lucuis Malfoy. "The Ministry and Governors of Hogwarts have agreed. The last of the Prefects from ThornNettles will be leaving the Chambers soon. We want them to attend Hogwarts."

Dumbledore narrowed his eyes and hid them behind his glasses. Why did Malfoy, a known Death Eater, care?

"We think those left scarred by He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named would see it as an act of good faith..."

An Hour later it was settled. Fourteen new 5th, 6th and 7th years would be joining HogWarts. But under close watching.

Remus Lupin would act as thier guardian at HogWarts and would also come back to his old position as Defense Against the Dark Arts teacher.

And all who had been on the lists to attend TornNettles would be redirected to HogWarts.

Dumbledore mounted his broom with a sigh. And now that they had had one year without Harry being attacked almost the entire Ministry was convinced the Dark Lord had indeed not been reborn. They were acting like nothing had changed.

Oh, the Ministry of Brazil didn't seem to have a problem believing Dumbledore and all his supporters. But then it was run by a former student of his and one of the Hee-no'hin. He grimaced.

He had just agreed to let one of them into his school...

Well, a few things were for sure about this coming year. One, the Werewolf Rights Act would be good for something. And two, it was going to be... interesting.
