The explosion echoed throughout the building and its surrounding streets. A loud crash and deep muffled scream pierced Felicity's ears as she typed away on her laptop.

"Oliver" she whispered at the sound, jumping out of her seat in the van. She pushed open the door, running to Oliver's rescue, knowing exactly what he and Digg would say if they knew.

*Inside the building*

Oliver stood behind the newly built wall of debris pacing back and forth.

"I'm going to count to three and all you need to do is let go" He said to Laurel in an attempt to make firing a bow sound as simple as possible.

"Ollie, I can't do this… there is only one arrow here, what if I miss?" Laurel replied nervously

"And if you don't fire it I'm stuck behind this wall for the rest of my life, for gods sakes Laurel shoot the freaking arrow" Oliver yelled back at her becoming more and more angry.

The sound of heels on a concrete floor broke Oliver's anger as Felicity entered the room.

"What's going on? Where's Oliver?" Felicity asked, terrified as she looked around.

"I'm ok. I'm here. And what the hell are you doing out of the van?" Oliver yelled

"Oh thank god, but uh where is here?" Felicity replied confused at the sound that appeared to be coming from nowhere and purposely ignoring his question.

"I'm behind the debris" Oliver yelled again

"Laurel shoot the bow, so I can get out of here" He continued

"Ollie I'm sorry, I just…" Laurel started

"GOD, GIVE ME THE BOW" Felicity yelled at Laurel

"What if you miss?" she asked

"You know what, I'm getting sick of you already…. He's never getting out if I don't try" Felicity replied with frustration.

Laurel consented handing the bow and arrow to Felicity.

"Ok Oliver, what do I do?" Felicity asked

Oliver explained how to shoot the bow to Felicity in detail

"So now I just let go?" She asked

"Just aim at the centre of the debris and let go" Oliver replied stepping back and ducking for cover

She took a deep breath, focusing on all the reasons she loved this man. She thought about his face, his eyes, his body, his physical and emotional strength, his care for everyone, his bravery and his ability to make her feel like she could do absolutely anything if she tried. With this motivation in her mind she opened her fist, sending the arrow flying towards the debris.

The wall came tumbling to the ground in a blast of smoke. The smoke and dust cleared revealing Oliver in a hunched over position. Felicity dropped the bow as she ran over to him.

"Are you ok?" she asked terrified

"Yeah, I'm great" he said confidently pulling her in for a hug

"Thankyou" Oliver whispered in her ear

"You're welcome, but please never make me use that thing again" she laughed

"Deal" he replied

The sound of running in the hall pulled them out of their embrace, as Diggle entered the room

"We have to get out of here, Isabel's been Slade-ified and Slade appears to have multiplied himself by about one hundred" Digg said breathing heavily

"What the hell are you doing here?" he continued at the sight of Felicity

"Not important right now Digg, let's get back to the van we'll make a plan there" Felicity yelled walking towards the rooms entrance.
