Being a teenage sensation pretty much overnight, dating the guy girl's dream of, being best friends with your role models, with movie opportunities and a recording contract all sound like every teenage girl's dream right?
Right. It was mine too. My name is Monica Marin. I'm 17, 5'1" with pale skin, and jet-black wavy hair. I'm what many consider to be pretty, I myself wish I were better. After many years of unsuccessful attempts at getting my music out there, Hollywood Records finally picked me up. I know, so exciting! The same label as all the Disney darlings who are so famous today. I had high hopes for myself.
They all came true. Overnight it seems. I put out a single called "Darkness" just to test fan's reaction. It was successful enough that Hollywood Records decided to sign me a record deal. To help promote my album, they arranged for me to feature Selena Gomez in one of my songs. That's right THE Selena Gomez! I made a new best friend in her, and got to meet so many other Disney stars. Miley Cyrus (not a fan of me), Demi Lovato (Not too crazy about me either), the Jonas Brothers (love 'em to death), etc.
