"This sucks!" thought Rakka as she limped down the dark tunnel.

She had been separated from her friends, Ellis and Reisha,after a massive rockslide caused by a tough battle with a demon spirit in an underground maze. Now she was all alone, stumbling through the endless tunnels, with a bleeding forehead and a foot that shot pain up her body with each step.

"I better find them soon, before that spirit finds them, or me for that matter"

She started to wonder how long she would be searching when she suddenly heard footsteps fast approaching. She started to see the outline of a man, and soon realized it was Kazehaya Kamito, the only male elementalist.

"Kamito!" she shouted.

"Rakka, what happened? Come here and let me apply first aid"

He looked surprised to see her alone.

"I got separated from Ellis and Reisha during a battle with a demon spirit." Rakka explained.

"Ohh, so you have no idea where they are."

"Nope"

"Okay, so lets find them" Kamito crouched down to give Rakka a piggyback ride.

"No thanks, I'm fine" Rakka stammered, embarrassed at the offer.

"Come on, it will help us find them and keep you off of that foot"

After a little while Rakka finally agreed.

As they were walking, Kamito got bored and asked Rakka about her family.

"I have a really cool family, me and my sister used to play fight a lot. She is really a girly person compared to me. I was always the tomboy in the family. Me and my dad are very close, he's awesome. I felt really bad leaving."

"Oh, you all must be close then"

"Yeah, what about you and your family?"Rakka asked.

"I don't remember much about them"

"Oh, sorry"

"Don't worry about it, its fine"

!BOOOOOM!

All the sudden, there was an explosion, Kamito and Rakka were blown to the side.

"I think we found the spirit you were talking about" Kamito said.

"Or it found us"

Kamito told Rakka to stay put while he fought the demon.

"No way, I want to help"

Rakka then summoned Cabracan, and sent him to help Kamito.

As Kamito fought the demon spirit, with the help of Cabracan, Ellis and Reisha heard the sound and came to help.

When the whole thing was over, they returned to the academy. Rakka was sent to the infirmary with Reisha to get their wounds healed.

Rakka began to think, maybe she had made another friend.
