Severus Snape is the bastard child of a time-travelling Harry Potter. His mother used the name Ellen Price after fleeing the Wizarding World, and only Severus ever knew the secret. He has one picture of his parents (Harry and Ellen) together and has always known his father's name. However, he spends his youth believing James' father, Henry, is his as well –the truth is not known, or even suspected, until the Potters are murdered and Harry's scar is documented in the Prophet. Knowing he will die, Severus finds a potion to keep him alive that must be administered in 2 phases –1 before the attack, 1 (with the fresh blood of his father) afterward. After returning from the past and finding Ellen's child, Harry brings him back to life. BUT… the potion has unexpected side-effects and de-ages Severus into his teens.

-Severus looks quite a bit like Harry, but has always gone to lengths to make himself look like Tobias
-Severus recognizes Harry's scar as his father's scar and hates Harry as his father, not just another student
-A positive relationship that developed between Severus and Tobias after the 1st war
-A positive relationship between Dumbledore and Severus
-Severus must be reluctant to live with Harry and desire Tobias' affection
