Hang Out

A Short Story.

On a beautiful summer day, the whole gang was together hanging out at a lake. Krillin decided not go swimming because he was too tired from playing football, since Goku was a wide receiver and Krillin a corner back. He looked around at Goku, Gohan, Tien, Yamcha, Trunks, Chaozu, Bulma, Chi-Chi, Oolong, Roshi, Puar, and even Vegeta and Piccolo were in the lake. Goku splashed a title wave at the others completely soaking all of them, which really got Chi-Chi angry. Master Roshi was hitting on the girls that were within a 100 foot radius of him because that was as far he could see.

Krillin thought to himself, "You know, I have been friends with Goku we were kids, and over the years he has not changed a bit. I have known Gohan since he was five, and he has changed to quite strong young boy. Tien, Yamcha, and Chaozu I have known for a while also and they have all tried to be as strong as Goku and the others as have I. But it seems that even though Goku has the Saiyans spirit and blood, he does not seem to have the same anger at us as Vegeta for being weaker." Out of nowhere Krillin gets knocked over by a wave Gohan splashed at him, "Oh you gonna get it now boy, come back here." Krillin shouted as he charged after Gohan, both of them laughing. Piccolo grabbed Krillin and dunked him under the water, and Krillin got up and flipped Piccolo and did the same thing to him. Bulma quietly went over to Vegeta and pulled down his shorts, "What is wrong with you woman?" Vegeta yelled, but then he found the humor in it and actually laughed for once. Very quietly though, everyone was just having a great time.

Krillin got out of the water and looked around again, to see that everyone was laughing and having a great time, and Krillin realized that it had been the first time in years that the whole gang had just been able to hang out and have fun with out having to worry about getting hurt or killed by some maniac. So Krillin ran back in the water and charged Gohan from behind, tackling him under the water. "Gotcha" Krillin laughed, as he looked at Gohans face.
