A/N: So I've never before written Fruna in my life. Not once. But this pairing was niggling at me and I had to cave.

Fred looked over at Luna with their son, and he could feel his heart bursting with pride. Luna was absolutely amazing in every way. Sure she might be a little crazy, but with her it was only a good thing. And their son Gideon was the absolute spit of her. Luna had always worried about getting pregnant, she had convinced herself that she would be a terrible mother. Maybe it was something to do with her mothers death when Luna was still a child, but right from the moment she discovered she was pregnant, Luna was prone to severe panic attacks and delusions. She was completely convinced that she would be a failure. Fred had stuck by her, been a reassuring presence all the way through the pregnancy and they'd come through it together. Now that Gideon was here you'd hardly be able to tell at all that Luna had been terrified by the thought of his existence. He watched as she bent to kiss Gideon's head, a small smile playing on her lips.

Luna had come into Fred's life like a whirlwind. She was friends with his younger sister Ginny, he believed Ginny had defended Luna from bullies for the last few years of school, and as a result Luna had latched onto Ginny. Fred had been discomforted to discover that he was developing feelings for Luna, but he had only been more determined to win her over every time she rejected him. Eventually she had caved and agreed to meet him for a Butterbeer, but it had still been over a month before she kissed him. It had all worked out in the end though. And now that he had his dream family, Fred wasn't ever going to let them go.

He ambled over to Luna, a bag of cold drinks in his hand, and kissed his wife on the cheek. She grinned up at him and Fred thought once again how much he loved this woman. He was damned lucky to have her in his life.

Gideon chose that moment to wake up, and reaching out his arms for his daddy. Fred swept him up and raised him onto his shoulders. The crowd waiting to enter the zoo was jostling around them. The Scamander Zoo was a new exhibit with all kinds of magical creatures; Fred had free tickets for entry because Charlie was one of the dragon keepers. Dragons were the only thing Gideon wanted to see; he was completely obsessed with them. They moved forwards into the zoo with everyone else; completely unaware that this was the last perfect day they would have together as a family.

A/N: I know it's short, but what did you think?
