The Rat Files
Sequel to Rat Pack These are scenes from actual episodes of Buffy the Vampire Slayer's third season with Matt "the Rat" Rensfield in them.
Revelations:
Angel is creating the living flame to destroy the glove of Mynhegon. When the Rat walks in.
"Hey Angie", he said.
"I told you not to call me that", Angel replied.
"What are you doing", Rat asked, then he saw the glove. "That's the glove of Mynhegon, That's as good as a ring of power", Rat was a huge Lord of the Rings fan.
"Yeah, whatever. Just don't touch it", Angel said, seeing the lust in Rat's eyes. At this point Ms. Post comes in and hits Angel and Rat over the head. Rat aids Angel in fighting Ms. Post until Faith comes in, then he says,
"Well, this is officially slayer's business now, see you Angie", he then activates his teleporter and disappears.
Lover's Walk:
Spike is sitting in his car cradling his burnt hand when the door opens and a gun pokes in.
"Hello Spike", comes a familiar voice.
"Hey Rat, so you planning on shooting me?" Rat steps into the car and replaces the gun in its holster.
"You know me better than that Spike, now show me some love.", Rat says extending his arms, as though expecting a hug. Spike ignores him. "You never show me love", Rat says disappointedly, lowering his arms. They go to the magic shop, looking for a curse for Angel. Then Willow comes in and Spike gets a better idea. Fast forward to the point where Spike is whining about Drusilla when Rat asks, "Spike, is she a hostage, or a marriage counselor?" Spike replies,
"Shut up" Then Spike goes to Buffy's house while Rat guards Willow and Xander. When Xander wakes up he asks Rat,
"Why are you helping Spike? I thought you were more or less a good guy." Rat replies,
"To make a long story short, we made a deal a long time ago. I let him kill, he lets me slay. We either help each other out or stay out of each other's business. I just hope this doesn't affect our friendship Xander" Then Xander replies,
"When this is over, you'd better leave town" After Spike reveals where Willow and Xander are, he calls Rat to tell him to leave. But before he does, Rat sees Willow and Xander kissing in front of Oz and Cordelia.
"Boy, this is awkward. See you guys later", he then teleports back to Spike's car, deciding to take Xander's advice and leave town. He sings along with Spike and the radio as the drive away.
