It was over. The Second Wizarding War was finished. It had been a week. The bodies of the dead were buried, the damaged castle repaired, the grass that was burnt grew. It was as if it had never happened. There was no evidence of war on Hogwarts grounds. Till you looked at the people. Their dull eyes, slow movements, and dazed air. They knew and remembered. They had survived the second rise and fall of Voldemort, yet could not move on. Too many dead, too many broken.

One night, a week after the end, all activity stopped. Quills were laid down, quiet conversations abandoned. Everyone stilled and everyone listened. The strains of music could be heard drifting over the castle, lawn, lake and forest. A voice joined in and in that moment it seemed that time had stopped.

It´s been a long road, getting from there to here.
It´s been a long time, but my time is finally near.
And I can feel the change in the wind right now. Nothing´s in my way.

As the last notes faded into silence it seemed as if the world held it's breath. The centures lineing the forest edge, the merpeople just below the surface of the lake, and the students, teachers, and family residing on the grounds of Hogwarts all felt hope building in their hearts. Hope for the future, hope for the present and hope for everything in between.

And so the rebuilding was complete, and their civilisation was reborn from the ashes of the old. Harry Potter, The-Boy-Who-Lived-And-Distroyed-He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named had once again save the world on Hogwarts grounds.
