Sami Zayn and Neville one shot after their match on the Summerslam pre-show.
Sami Zayn high fived Neville after they had got backstage after beating the Dudley Boyz.
"That was great." Sami said
"I wish we'd got a proper feud going into it though." Neville replied.
"At least we got a match, better than nothing." "Sami pointed out.
"It was good teaming up. I missed sharing the ring with you." Neville told the ginger Canadian. "Now, I need a shower."
The pair got interrupted and asked for a quick backstage interview. They did a short one and then they left for the locker room. They showered and changed in the locker room and started watching the show from the backstage area, making comments to each other about the matches. Sami and Neville tracked down Finn Balor after his match with Seth Rollins and congratulated him, new champion and all that. Out at ringside Rusev and Roman Reigns were attacking each other even though the bell hadn't rung.
"Thank you." Finn said after Sami and Neville had pulled him into a group hug, they released him from the hug and he continued "We've got to celebrate soon."
"Can't do much tonight, we have to be at Raw tomorrow, especially you now champ." Sami told him.
"Drinks after Raw?" Neville asked.
"We'll have something else to celebrate as well." Sami said, nudging Neville.
"You're finally joining us in the wrong side of thirty club tomorrow." Finn teased.
"Yeah, yeah. Thirty isn't that old. But then again compared to you two…." Neville joked. Finn and Sami laughed.
"I'll catch up with you later." Finn said, noticing more people headed his way for congratulations.
Neville and Sami watched the last part of the show before heading to their hotel. They were sharing a room to save a bit on price and the hotel had mistakenly given them a room with a double bed instead of separate beds. It was fine, it could have been worse. They decided to go to sleep as both were exhausted from the long day and needed to rest before Monday. Sami fell asleep as soon as his head hit the pillow and started cuddling Neville in his sleep. Neville had noticed Sami's tendency to do this when they'd shared hotel rooms before, when they hadn't had to share a bed Sami would cuddle a pillow instead. Maybe he was just a cuddler. Neville hadn't brought it up with Sami in case it embarrassed him. Neville fell asleep shortly afterwards.
