Pietro hurried into the mall, using his speed to get him there twice as fast. His sister had given him only five minutes to get there and back, buying her a new hairdryer since her old one had gone bust. It seems her powers could also make electronic objects react in bizarre and unnatural ways. In the case of the hairdryer, start spitting green slime and spinning around at top speed.
Anyway, Wanda seemed to think that it was all his fault and now he had to blow all his money on a new one for her. He wanted to complain but he figured that in the long run it would pay off, he hated having his twin angry at him.
Giving a new definition to the word speedily, Pietro dashed in shop after shop searching for something that his sister would like, nevertheless he kept on coming up empty. He had only 30 seconds left and the situation was becoming desperate. He would end up sleeping over at a friend's house by the look of things, he couldn't go home empty handed to Wanda… at least not for a week or two.
Then he paused recognising a certain X-man surveying the contents of a store opposite him. Crashing into wall out of distraction, Pietro picked himself up and continued to stare in the direction of the X-man.
Sighing he stared at them, watching their every move and action. His mind floated back to when he'd first seen them. Even then they had fascinated him, something about them had always caused him to stop and stare like an idiot. Much like what he was doing now. Either way he couldn't take his eyes off them.
He'd always been a player, never caring much for people. Until he met them, they took his breath away, made him feel like a new man and various other overused clichés.
But they made him feel different. Feel something that he'd never felt before. It was like an epiphany, the sudden realisation of what true emotion was.
The five minutes had past now, more than once, but Pietro didn't care. Just as long as he could continue to stand there and watch them, just watch them. He'd deal with anything his sister could dish out.
He knew right then that he would do anything for them.
'What are you staring at Pietro?' Demanded a bewildered Kurt Wagner.

Pietro: WHAT THE HELL?!?! You're pairing me with that?
Ellie: No and tone down the Kurt bashing.
Pietro: But you just... you just...
Ellie: It's a parody. I wanted to write something about you since I'll never otherwise get the chance. It's also making fun of all the lame pairings they stick you in. Pietro pairings must die!
Pietro: I hate you.
Ellie: Y'see, they'll come here expecting some kind of Kitty/Pietro pairing and instead they'll get you and Kurt! Muwha!
Pietro: You're evil! How could you! I like GIRLS, dammit! You stupid evil hag!
Ellie: I love you too.
