Disclaimer: I do not own Lord of the Rings,
I do not own that many things,
I do not own an elf or tree,
These things that were not meant for me,
I do not own them now, I did not own them then,
Not now, not then not ever again,
I do not own the words I say,
I do not own that much this day,
I do not own my house,
I do not own a mouse,
I do not own Lord of the Rings,
I do not own the rights to anything.

Summary: A poem that I thought up after reading Aelin-uial's story "Breath of midnight", it is either from the point of view of Feaestel or another elf. (I hope this make sense and is something like the story)

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~~~~~~~~
In the dark of night and light of stars,
No cell to hold or prison bar,
The starlight fades and sun does rise,
Fooled are men by evils guise,
Our strength is faded, the old have gone,
No more to sing the songs we sung,
Men's minds are weak, our bodies are poor,
The world has changed again once more,
A war was fought that should never have been,
The torment of our kindred seen,
The starlight fades in darkness' reign,
Those who we loved has caused us pain,
The end of life that we had made,
Our time is passed and we must fade,
But not to darkness our stars will fall,
The choice is ours to make at all.
