Wedding Day Special
As I walked down the aisle of the church I saw Edward looking straight at me.
I smiled.
When I looked at him I felt loved and cared for, I felt at home.
As I looked into his piercing green eyes I remembered the night he had proposed to me.
I was the 21st March, our 4 year anniversary.
It was almost midnight when Edward turned to me and said,
"Let's go for a walk." He said happily but nervous at the same time.
"Ok." I replied. I was hesitant about going but I trusted Edward and anywhere he went I went.
We got to the end of the path, I stopped.
Edward continued on walking and I stayed behind unsure.
Edward turned to me and said,
"Why did you stop?" He asked curiously.
"I'm just not sure about going into the forest when it's this dark." I replied.
"Oh c'mon, I'll keep you safe."
I knew he meant it after all Edward would always protect me.
So I followed him.
After 10 minutes of walking, I saw lights.
Then as we reached the clearing there was a table with roses and sprinkled over it and a candle in the middle of it.
There were huge lights hanging from the trees.
I t was gorgeous.
The moon was directly above me and when I turned to around to face Edward he wasn't there he was kneeling on the ground before me.
He reached into his coat pocket and pulled out a tiny box.
As he opened it I gasped as I saw a HUGE diamond ring inside that must have cost thousands of dollars but I knew better than to bring up money with Edward.
Then he broke me out of my train of thought by speaking in his beautiful voice and I will never forget the words he said.
"Isabella Marie Swan,
Ever since the first time I laid eyes on you, I knew you were the one.
The way you bite your bottom lip when you're nervous, run your fingers through your hair when you don't know what to say, the way you blush when you're embarrassed but most of all the way you love.
You accepted me the way I was, you didn't try to change me and how you think I'm perfect because you see past my flaws.
Bella you are the one for me and I promise to love and cherish you for the rest of my life if you let me.
Will you marry me?"
He reached up and wiped away one of my tears.
I hadn't even noticed I was crying.
