This is for Rumaan, because she unleashed that terrible plot bunny upon my brain: "What if Thranduil and Lucius Malfoy ran a hair salon together and instead of doing any actual work they bitched about their customers and interfered in their sons love lives?"
Here we go.
Unbetaed & English is not my first language, terribly sorry about the mistakes.
Fab' Hair Day
Olivia pushed open the door of the newly opened hair saloon, Fab' Hair Day.
Two stunningly handsome men were sitting with ethereal grace at an ornate gilt table in a corner, sipping coffee and having a heated discussion in hushed tones.
They both had matching pale blond hair, draped over their shoulders and tied with velvet ribbons. Olivia felt a pang of jealousy at the sight. She'd kill, for hair like that! Well, maybe Handsome & Dashing over there could work miracles on her hair, too.
Olivia waited for a few moments, but minutes ticked by and the men kept talking, utterly ignoring her. She finally decided to clear her throat politely to signal her presence.
"What?" snapped one of the men, turning all his considerable attention toward her. "Can't you see we are talking? Were you raised in a barn, woman?"
Olivia recoiled and tried to explain herself. "I did not mean to be rude, sorry! It's just that I'd like to book an appointment for a cut and…"
"Sorry", the other man sneered, "I'm afraid we're completely booked for the day."
Olivia debated over pointing out that the salon was absolutely empty, but decided against it.
"Then maybe later this week?" she ventured.
"Sadly, no," the man drawled. He brought out a lacquered comb with a small snake painted on it and started idly combing his silky mance.
"Awfully busy schedule, I'm afraid. Do come by later," he added, motioning toward the door with a dismissive gesture.
"Yes," added the other man in waspish tones. "Like, never." He then flounced out of his chair to grab a silver hairbrush lying on the counter. "Anyway Lucius, about that son of yours…"
Olivia sighed and stepped out of the hair salon, leaving the two of them to their coffee and their hairdo.
Toodles !
