Title: Ben Skywalker and the Daunting Challenge

A/N: Thanks to Jaira for looking this over and helping the story flow. This is the response to a challenge at Jello Anarchy. (Link is my Homepage in my profile, you should check it out, it's a fun community.) You had to pick ten characters and mark them 1-10 and then we would get something like: "Would #1 (Ben Skywalker) rather sleep with #9 (Empress Teta) or #10 (Saba Sebatyne)?" There was a 500 word limit, so this is just a little short story about Ben's Choice. (Don't worry, its tasteful enough. :P)

Ben Skywalker was baffled. In all his years as a Jedi he had never been in a situation like this. He was sitting in a room with several of his agemates, most of them 16 or 17.
There were six apprentices all gathered in small quarters on the third planet in the Adega system. He was technically their superior, a Jedi Knight, but he was not there in an official capacity.
He had returned to Coruscant after a particularly stressful series of missions and his father, the grand master of the Order, sent him off to Ossus to rest for a few weeks.
At first, he meditated most of the time and purged himself of any negative emotions that may have built up in the previous months. This worked until Kam Solusar had spotted him one time too many. He then insisted that Ben 'hang out.'
Ben was worried at first, that 'hanging out' was some sort of punishment, but that was not the case. To 'hang out' was euphemism for sitting around and not doing much of anything. Master Solusar said he picked the term up in his youth.
Old people sure had odd slang, back in the day.
The group had just finished watching The Stars Shine For You a holodocudrama on the life and times of the Empress Teta staring Treese Eitherfork. It was amazing seeing what Holowood could do with modern technology.
They were now playing a game called 'Truth or Dare.' Ben had never encountered this game before, but had heard of it. So far he had been spared and no one called on him.
"Ben! Truth or Dare." Saba Sebatyne's Kaminoan apprentice, Kwi Do, called on him.
"Truth." Ben answered, wondering if he should have chosen Dare.
"I have a lubed one for you Ben! Who would you rather sleep with: Empress Teta or my master?" This caused rancorous laughter from the assembled group, minus Ben. He blinked. Was Kwi serious? Ben was now thinking that the choice of truth was definitely the right one.
"That's a tough one Kwi," Ben said pausing for mock deliberations. "I think I will have to settle on Teta, assuming she looked half as good as Treese Eitherfork!" Ben got a few pats on the back from the male apprentices while the two females rolled their eyes.
"Really? I think I would have chosen my master."
There was silence for a moment before everyone except Kwi burst out laughing. He was looked around at the faces and blinked. "What?" He said causing more laughter.
Maybe this 'hanging out' wasn't so bad after all.
