Looking at you in the moonlight

Nymph

Author's note: Well I should be studying for finals right now but I decided to take a break and ended it up writing this poem. Please review afterwards.

Looking at you in the moonlight

My heart can't help but quicken

Your graceful figure watching the stars

Your face radiant under the moonlight

Your eyes sparkling like cerulean seas

I guess it is you that made me love the seas so.

Your hair playing with the wind

The wind kissing your lips and cheeks,

Making your lips turn red and your delicate cheeks rosy

Oh how I wish I were the wind

Being able to caress you

Kissing your sweet lips and making you shiver.

You are like a fairy

Luring me with your beauty

My little water nymph

Perched upon your pedestal of stone

Playing with the water surrounding you.

How I wish I were the water being graced by your gentle caresses.

I wish that I could be anything that could bring me closer to you.

But it is not my place to speak

For you do not acknowledge me.

I am but a friend, never to be a lover.

A winged creature free to soar

But never to be joined by my water nymph.
