School was never my favorite thing.
I always felt like a dummy when I got problems wrong or goofed off in general. I have never been popular, no one ever wanted to buddy-buddy with me, and I've never had a girlfriend.
Ever.
So it came as a big surprise to me when these two girls walked up to me at the end of sixth period. I figured that they were waiting for someone behind me, but no one else was in the room. I had a bad feeling about them.
As I got a little closer to them, I saw what they really looked like, and decided that they were not monsters. One of them had long brown hair and light brown eyes, and was actually very pretty with black and purple glasses and braces. The other one had longish shortish blonde hair and eyes like mine-startlingly green. She also had glasses, but these were blue and brown. Both girls were beaming.
The brunette walked up to me and said,"Hi! My name is Jenna and you must be Percy!" Her eyes sparkled.
"Your eyes look like Coke," I said stupidly. Leave it to me to say something absolutely moronic.
Th blonde said,"I'm Juliet. Sorry about my sister," then she whispers,"she didn't take her meds this morning."
"Oh, um... that's okay...I guess...," I say, and right then I'm drawing a complete blank.
"I wish she knew how to talk to strangers, but, you know, being her twin and all..."
"You guys are twins?" I don't think so. I may not be passing a lot of my classes, but if these girls were twins, well, that would make Blackjack my brother. Well, technically he is, but I don't want to go there.
"Yes, we're twins," started Jenna," but I'm fifteen minutes older than this walking Merriam-Webster."
The term "double trouble" never worked better than in this situation.
A/N: This is my first fic, so I need some good advice! I hope the whole "meds" thing wasn't offensive, because if anyone said that to me I wouldn't be offended because I actually take meds. So yeah. Hope you liked it, and I will try to update as soon as I can!
