Hello. I just wrote a small fanfic about how Mark could've told Lexie smoothly about Callie's baby. In this story she doesn t run away but stays and listen to him because he decides to tell her his true feelings.

Mark was scared, in fact, he was frightened. He had everything to lose here… When he heard a knock on the door, he pulled himself together and opened the door. He saw Lexie with a large smile on her face. She was always smiling, she was so cute and charming and he had to destroy her now. It s not fair! He shouldn't have slept with Callie, but how possibly could he know that she will become pregnant? Plus, she wants to keep the baby. Mark wanted a baby now more than anything. Even more than Lexie… maybe this is why he doesn't t feel so guilty, but scared… so scared.

She didn't say anything. She was speechless. Mark had never talked to her so deeply about his feelings and him wanting her, her presence by his side. He didn't say it to her as he did it when Sloan was here. This time, he clearly saw her in the frame and he said it out loud. After she had realized that, a small tear was running down her cheek. He leaned forward to whip it away and she looked at him and felt so secure, so strong that they could do anything together. So, she just took him into a deep kiss.
