Chapter.1~New feelings~After marineford,Shanks and his crew arrive on the battlefield right after ace's body falls onto the ground and shanks see's just as luffy screams and falls unconscious.

"Luffy!...poor anchor.Beckman take luffy to the ship NOW." Shanks orders his swordsman.

"yes sir"he answers.

Benn nods over to yassop and they lift the young straw hat pirate up and takes him onto the red force.Shanks glares at akainu in pure rage at him for hurting his anchor but instead he says"leave before i change my mind!"Akainu leaves as fast as he can.

Marco runs up to shanks.

"marco can you burying ace for luffy ,i need to help him."Shanks asks marco.

"yes go to luffy he needs you right now."marco says.

Shanks goes onto the red force and see's yassop running up to him.

"yassop?how is anchor?which room is he in?"Shanks asks worried.

"well captain...luffy is thrashing in your bed reopening his injuries if we dont stop him he will die!"yassop explains in a panic.

"Those damm marines...garp just stands there!letting his grandsons suffer!"shanks snaps angry and heads to his room.

Shanks calms down and enters his room and sees luffy thrashing and screaming blood all over the sheets.

"Luffy!"Shanks runs ober to the boy in a worried panic and gets on the bed and wraps himself around luffy and carreses his head like he did when luffy was a child.

"shhh luffy your gonna be okay you can pull through this i will help you anchor."shanks tells luffy softly.

Yassop walks in with new bandages and medical wraps as he smiles lightly at his captain and the boy.

"captain?"yassop asks worried.

"don't worry yassop he will make it now hand the medical supplies over and leave the room but next time knock before you come in."Shanks orders and yassop leaves the medical supplies on the table and leaves the room quietly.

"Ace,Don't leave me alone!it's lonely without you!"luffy whimpers in pain.

"oh anchor..."shanks says caressing the boys face as he undresses luffy and undoes the old bandages and cleans his wounds and puts on new bandages.

Shanks goes to his room and sits in the chair next to his bed.

"luffy im glad your looking better but your still always worrying meme to death even in your sleep geeze."shanks mutters to himself.Luffy slowly opens his eyes as shanks kisses luffy on his head.

"S-Shanks?is that you?"luffy asks unsure of himself.

"Anchor!your awake!"Shanks says as he happily embraces the boy tightly into a hug.

"shanks...arent you dissappointed in me?"luffy asks in a sad broken voice.

"because you couldn't save ace?no,i am not im just glad you made it out alive."Shanks tells luffy softly.

luffy looks down at his chest and touches the X scar.

"maybe ace is right about one thing maybe me and him shouldn't have been brought into this world..."luffy says as he looks down.

Shanks snaps and he slaps luffy across the face angry.

"dont you ever say that again anchor!we wouldnt have met if you havent been born!i love you luffy i wont allow you to hate on your self!"Shanks yells at luffy.

luffy rubs his cheek and smiles.

"thanks shanks."luffy says.
