You're In My Heart

It was another beautiful day and band practice for Grojband had just finished.
Kin suddenly noticed that Laney had left her secret diary on the stage. He then grew to have an evil smirk as he picked it up. He decided to show it to Kon.
Once they had read a page called 'my secret crush', Kin thought of a plan to get Laney to once and for all tell Corey her feelings.
But they couldn't let Laney know, because they knew she would get mad if they found out. So they put the diary right back where they found it. But at least now they had proof that Laney had feelings for Corey, as it was obvious to practically everyone except Corey.
Laney then walked into the room and innocently mentioned to the guys that she was hungry.
Corey said there are snacks in the fridge if anyone wanted any.
Kon then dashed to the fridge. But there was no food left.
So Kon and Kin went out to get more food, only, leaving Laney and Corey all alone.
The mere thought of this made Laney's heart rush. She was all alone with Corey.
Laney was wondering, what if Corey didn't like her back? What if he really did only see her as one of the guys? But he was so cute, so talented, and so perfect. But there had to be a catch. He probably didn't like her back.
Corey sat on stage still casually strumming his guitar with his eyes closed and he was completely unaware that Laney was mentally freaking out right now. Corey could be so oblivious at times!
Corey then noticed Laney freaking out about something it didn't know what though.
He put his arm around her shoulder and calmly said, ''Lanes what's wrong?''
Laney didn't know what to say to this but took a deep breathe in and said, ''Nothing.''
Corey didn't know what to do but he took her at her word and accepted the answer.
But that's when she sighed. "Ugh, okay, it's not really nothing…but jeez, I don't know where to start, Corey…"
Corey blinked and stared blankly.
Laney was thinking…I really need to tell Corey how I feel, and there is no better time than now.
I'm just scared that if I do he may kick me out of the band…or but if he feels the same this would be great! This is really a sink or swim moment.
"Corey, before we do any more rehearsals, there is something you need to know."
Corey laughed at the serious expression on her face. "What's got you in such a mood, Lanes?"
"I'm serious, Core…" Laney trembled as she took a gulp and said, '' Because I—I need to tell you what's in my heart!''
Corey stopped and stared into Laney's beautiful grey eyes.
"What do you mean, Lanes?" Corey wondered out loud.
Kin was peeking around the corner, listening in. Kon was munching loudly on his snacks and Kin put his hand over his brother's mouth to make him quiet.
Laney then looked at Corey and said ''You're in my heart.'' She said shyly waiting for Corey's reply.
It took Corey a few seconds before he realized. "Oh. You mean you love me? You're really pretty Laney and exactly my kind of girl. I just never thought you would think of me that way."
"I totally do!"
"Want to go out some time?"
"Definitely yes!"
Kin and Kon were watching and listening, still not knowing what to make of this.
So the two new love birds shared a quick kiss.
Kin and Kon grinned to each other. It was about time!
