Neo: Hey I know what you all are thinking; wow I haven't read anything from you in... Well, forever! So hers the thing, Life sucks and I'm so sorry I haven't posted anything. *sad face* on the bright side I can now do fanfic again! (I don't really watch the show anymore so this is mainly from what I've seen from awhile back. Please don't tell me how to write my fanfic.)

Rules: No flames; I understand my writing isn't perfect but I'm doing my best with what I got. A helpful hint is very much wanted. Feel free to share ideas with me (that's not really a rule but whatever.) Be a nice human being and my chapters will come along in time... I do have a life outside of fan fiction. (It's sad but true.)

Sum: Lee wants to find love; Neji just wants a fast (well ya know.) Will Gaara be able to help the leaf ninja or will his mind hold him back from his true feeling?

Chapter 1: Trying to find hope.

Lee always smiled. It was a well known fact that everyone in the leaf village knew. The young boy was never seen with out that large grin.

Yet what they didn't know was how sad he was on the inside.

Lee had remembered the first time he had found love. It came in the form a lovely pink haired girl. She had given him hope; she had made him feel like someone, made him feel needed. Lee also knew that this love was a lie.

It broke his heart every time she snapped at him and every time she would ignore his tries to impress her.

Yet he always had that smile not wanting anyone to feel concern for him. They had their own problems and the last thing he wanted was to make them worry about his own. Lee could take care of himself.

At least, that's what he thought.

He had given up on Sakura. What was the point if she only saw an illusion of love from Sasuke?

Lee never let it show how hard it was to see her nor did he let it show how sad it made him to let her go. He had spent a long time talking Gai sensei about it and he knew it had to be done.

Lee spent a lot of time training after that, day in and day out, anything to take his mind off of the subject.

It had taken awhile but he had been successful in the end.

The next person he found himself in love with was a red haired sand ninja. He found himself blushing at the thought of Gaara. He'd never tell him that was for sure.

It didn't save him from the dreams he had of the red head.

Lee shivered at the thought of those lovely teal eyes and the feel of the younger male's hands running over his skin.

Lee would often be found staring off into space when ever he was alone of had finished his training.

He couldn't fool himself though; the red head would never want someone like him. Lee almost laughed at the thought of comforting the sand nin.

No he just could bring himself to say anything. He was however happy when he looked at his wounded arm and leg, Gaara had left his mark on him, that was for sure.

Lee had also been finding Neji attractive as well. He wondered if he was gay and he found that he didn't mind the realization one bit.

The only thing was; how would Neji take this confession?

Neo: Well this is more of a background chapter. The really story will start soon though and the chapters WILL get longer.
