Jeremy waited outside of school for his aunt Jenna to come pick him up. She called him moments later to tell him she wasn't able to make it. Jeremy sighed but promised her that he would find a ride home. Jeremy began walking, knowing he didn't really have anyone to give him a ride home. After walking a block, his legs became very sore. He sat on a bench for a while. As he sat, a car drove by and splashed all the mud that was on the floor onto his face and clothes. Jeremy got up and continued walking. He became very tired after a while and very thirsty too. He would've bought a soda but he had no money on him. Right then, the sun shined down on a car which appeared in front of him. When he looked at the driver's seat he saw Tyler Lockwood. Tyler's skin looked smooth and his eyes filled with passionate love.

"Want a ride?" Tyler asked.

"This isn't a gay Tyler & Jeremy fan fiction. Go read another story." Jeremy said.

He continued walking and finally got home an hour later. He walked in on Elena and Stefan making out on the couch.

"Oh no please don't stop for me, I'll just go get some popcorn and get a front row seat." Jeremy said.

Stefan pulled away from Elena.

"Sorry little man." Stefan said.

"Little man? Don't call me that." Jeremy demanded.

He went to the kitchen to drink some orange juice and then went back upstairs to relax. He sat down on his bed and looked at a picture of Anna. She looked beautiful. He kissed the photo as a tear fell down his eye. He put the picture down when he noticed someone in the doorway.

"Sorry to bother you." Damon said.

"Wow. You? Sorry?" Jeremy looked down.

"Do you believe I'm that heartless that I can't even be sorry?" Damon asked.

"Elena's downstairs." Jeremy said.

"Okay. Why do I care?" Damon questioned.

"You should be mad." Jeremy noted. "Elena and Stefan were making out. Guess they started without you."

"Guess I'll pass on that one." Damon chuckled.

"Why do you hate life so much?" Jeremy asked.

"I've got my reasons." Damon replied.

"I do too, but I don't try to ruin other people's lives."

Damon sighed, "I've done some things I'm not proud of."

"We all have." Jeremy nodded.

"Can I join you?"

Jeremy was puzzled. "Join me in doing what? Feeling pathetic?"
"I actually meant sitting next to you, but sure, that too." Damon smiled.

Jeremy shrugged. Damon sat down next to him on the bed. The two were quiet. Jeremy looked over at Damon. Damon stared back. Moments later, Damon leaned in and kissed him. Jeremy, caught off guard, kissed back. The most passionate kiss to ever be shared by two human beings. Just then, Alaric walks in.

"Seriously? Starting without me?" Alaric asked.

"Oh you!" Jeremy laughed.

He threw a pillow at Alaric. Alaric smiled and did a little dance. Damon smiled.

"I love being a Salvatore." Damon said.
