Hi everybody! I wrote this drabble in March 2009, but this is the first time someone reads it… I was in the gym watching some boys who were training so close to each other. This reminded me a lemon scene and I started writing it, but I was in such a dangerous place that I couldn't write anything but this.

I'm sorry…

- They've shot you… Matt, I'm sorry.

"I'm sorry… I know I'm so impulsive, so pigheaded… I'm such an asshole that I didn't realize what was important; you're such an asshole that you followed me in that lethal adventure. Because catching Kira was my dream, my goal… Not yours. I shouldn't have let you put your own life at stake for me… Your life… It's my fault that you've been killed, because I asked you to come with me, because I agreed to recieve your help and your participation in this mission… Taking the worst part, just to keep me safe…
Yes, I knew it. Why do I have to lie? And like a selfish bastard I let it be, without becoming aware that you were the most important and that the danger… the danger was flying over us like a raptor.
Without you, I'll die. But you, you won't… If I hadn't been so greedy, you might have continued with your life, destroying your lungs with your cigarettes, and maybe finding a great job, the perfect partner for you…
However, it's all done… I'm not thinking about suicide… Not now. It's not necessary to show what I'm feeling… Emptyness, solitude… Without you, my light is over.
I'm going to defeat Near and beat Kira… For you, for me… For both of us. You and me, together. And then, forever and ever.

Fury comes across my body again, as a trapped beast. I crash something, don't know what, with a punch. But you're not here, with me, to calm me down with your sweet words and a hug, like you did before. Only you, Matt, were the only one who could pacify me. Then, of course, people scolded me, but I didn't care about hearing them because before I had listened the most beautiful words in the world.

"Keep calm, Mihael… Don't worry… I love you."
