A New Beginning
Chapter 1
Misaki's Point of View/P.O.V
'So much to do, so little time'. Where have I heard those words before? I kept thinking about this as I kept moving. I know the words 'Home is where the heart is', and yet I don't feel at home at all.
I think an introduction is in order. I'm Misaki Shinosuke, but Misa's fine. I hold a powerful weapon, the Keyblade. I suppose I was chosen to be its wielder but with all this trouble, it's tough. Anyway, this is the start of my adventure.
First, just to let you know, I can't remember my past. Well, I couldn't at first but now I've got a clearer pic of my past. Now that that's outta the way, let's begin, shall we? It all started when I was 14. Having gone through two adventures before, I prepared to leave Gaia, my foster home. This was meant to be solo but Zidane and the others insist that they went with me.
"You're crazy, right?" I asked.
"Misa, I'm being serious," Zidane answered.
At that time, I needed to find the place I belong to. Another world in truth. My world. But I guessed I needed all the help I could get. How naïve I was. Two days later, our airship, the Invincible, hit a storm.
"Something's off," Eiko said.
"What's wrong?" I asked,curious.
"Madeen sensed some darkness, coming from the storm,"
"Really?" And as I said that, the alarm went off. Bllack creatures surrounded us. Strangely, they looked like Vivi and the other black mages.
We fought as hard as we could, but more kept coming. Soon we both passed out, when I came to, I was in a town. They were running amok. I ran for shelter in an accessory shop. The owner didn't think much about the escape but he brought out a camera and blasted those monsters. He gave me useful information about those things and the town. I was in Traverse Town, another world in other words. The man's name is Cid Highwing. And the monsters were called Heartless. As I left, not without some accessories first, I ran into an old friend, Squall Leonhart, Whom I met with Zidane in this 'War of the Gods'. We fought alongside each other. He asked me to follow him to his hideout. He had two teammates, other than Cid. They were Yuffie Kisaragi, a ninja with a HUGE shuriken and thief, and Aerith Gainsborough, the healer. Aerith went to the other room to talk to the other guests, Yuffie and Squall or Leon as he calls himself nowadays, explained more about the Heartless. They attacked because of their fear of the Keyblade I hold. We talked about old times when a new version of Heartless (an Emblem Heartless) tried to get us from behind. If it weren't for my speed, I'd be a goner. The source was coming from the plaza in the Second District. I managed to get there when two familiar faces crashed into me from above. As I got out from the dog pile, I saw that they were General Beatrix Rose and Freya Crescent, two others who were with me.
"Beatrix! Freya!"
"Lady Misaki!" "Misa!"
That's when things got hairy. One huge Emblem Heartless fell in from above. We fought and defeated the thing. Leon thought we should take a ship Cid gave us and find the rest of our friends. I agreed with him and so did they. Little did we know, this would be the start of another adventure.
