Summary
Hello, welcome to my excellent story. You will read it in its entirety, and you will agree that it is excellent. An alien spacecraft landed in Michigan in 1902, and its technology was used by then-President Theodore Roosevelt to give more power to the US government. He knew he couldn't let anyone else control it, so he enacted many policies to give the President more power. In the year 1968, Richard Nixon was elected President, but this universe's Nixon is even more paranoid and power-hungry. Throughout his first term he used his power to replace and brainwash his enemies, and those who could be a problem for him. He tried to silence anyone who had incriminating knowledge, but an alien spy released tapes of damning phone conversations he had with his subordinates. Nixon and his Security Advisor and Secretary of State, Henry Kissinger, initiated their backup plan, and took complete control of the government. He imprisoned blacks in zoos, revoked all rights possessed by Jews and members of the press, and squashed any attempt to dethrone him. A group of rebels, lead by legendary genius Johnny Carson, built a time machine, and Carson went back in time and recruited former Presidents, trained them to use alien weaponry, and went to 1902 to stop Roosevelt from setting in place the seret measures which would ultimately give Nixon the power he has in their time.
