Forest of Ghosts
They whisper without a thought
And their touch is a cold breeze
With humanity they endlessly fought
Now they may sleep in peace
In a land of the whispering wind
They live without a care
They no longer fear human sin
For sin is not a ghost's fear
Sleep thy spirit, and peace be in the mind
For your life ended so soon, and so did time
For what you left on earth, is now mine
But what I want the most
Is to live in the sleepy Forest of Ghosts
They wonder around with passion
For they lived such painful life
And the world owes them compassion
For their wrongs to be right
Can you laugh? Smile? Or remember the memories that passed
Does it hurt? Do you cry to think of the peace that is gone?
Not at your new world or home that you have now been blessed
But the world we lived in together, the one I'm left on.
Tired is the body, growing old through time
Tired is the pain, which affects my mind
What was yours is now mine
But what I want the most
Is to be with you in the Forest of Ghosts
