Menegroth
If I had to live
In a hole
In the ground,
It had better be
Both large
And beautiful.
A/N: I wrote this at least 6-7 years ago for a poetry contest on the Lord of the Rings Fanatics Plaza. The contest topic was "Menegroth". I was one of the finalists, but I don't remember if I won (I probably didn't). I wish I could remember the rest of the LotR poems I wrote for contests on that site, since I have managed to lose my copies of them all (most likely due to stupid computers needing to be reformatted) over the years.
