(a/n This is very angsty and upsetting. DO NOT READ IF SUICIDE UPSETS YOU. You have been warned. I don't exactly know how I managed to write this. Jesus I was almost crying as I wrote this. Please don't flame me. I've bumped up the rating as ff.net took it off.)

Last Regrets

Gone For Good

She sits alone,

Thinking of home,

Mulling over her last regret.

Was it that she'd never find love?

As pure white as the wings on a dove.

Was that her last regret?

She sits alone,

Thinking of home,

Mulling over her last regret.

Her friends would never forget,

Maybe this was her last regret.

Keladry Of Mindelan sighed as she looked out across the palace grounds watching the sunset. The last sunset she would ever see. A sad smile crossed her face. She was going to miss this life.

Tears filled her eyes and she brushed them away. I won't cry she told herself sternly. I won't cry. She moved slowly towards the dresser. Opening the draw she pulled out a Lalasa had made her. It was beautiful.

She grabbed a pen and paper then began to write her note. It read,

Sorry. This had to happen. Can you blame me for taking the easy way out?

Dom, I love you, there I got the words out. I'll miss you for as long as my spirit lives on. Maybe we'll meet again sometime, I hope so. I hope so. I love you.

Neal, sorry I won't get to see you and Yuki have children. This is the way it has to be. Sorry. I'll miss you.

Tobe. Sorry I promised I'd never leave you, never disappear. I guess I broke my promise.

I love you all, Kel.

Her hand shook as she finished it. She read it threw but her eyesight got blurry so she just held the letter tight.

She took the dagger Lady Alanna had given her in the page years. Moving quickly she locked the door to her room then moved to the bed. She pressed the sharp side of the dagger to the flesh on her wrist. Blood welled up and flowed down the side of her arm making red droplets on the bed. She did the same to her other wrist all the time holding the note in her blood soaked hand.

When she fell eyes unseeing onto the bed soaked with her blood she didn't notice that along with the last frayed remnants of her life the light died the sky.

The next morning Neal worried about the way Kel had been acting lately tried to get her to open the doors to her rooms. When he continued to get no answer, he began to get worried. Kel had been very depressed lately and he wasn't sure that she wouldn't do something stupid.

In the end he got Dom and Raoul and some of Dom's men to ram open the door. The sight they saw made them wish they'd done it sooner. Kel lying on her bed. Eyes glassy and staring out into a different world one which only existed to the dead. Her deathly pale face was oddly peaceful. Her pale hand was holding a note.

"Kel!" Dom cried when he saw her. "Oh gods Kel!"

Neal ran forward checking her pulse. When he looked up there were tears in his eyes. "She's gone." He whispered more to himself than the others. "She's gone."

(a/n okay I can't believe I wrote that it is so sad. *sniffs* )
