Hey, Can you hear me?
I called out your name.
She sat there. Looking lifeless like every doll.
Where are you from?
What is it that's brought you here?
She watched as the people around her moved. Looking at all the dolls that have been brought to the museum.
Why wont you answer me?
I swear to play nice.
A little boy stood looking at her. An eye patch over one of his eyes.
Isn't this fun?
This game of hide and seek.
She could see the pain in his eye.
I only wanted to hear your voice.
Skin that's warm.
Eyes that cry.
He reached out for her and she wanted to cry. To bad her eyes were fake.
I only wanted to see your smile.
Feel your touch it's been a while.
He pulled his hand away and looked around. She felt so disappointed.
Long long ago.
I was a girl just like you.
She was a girl just like every other girl. She wanted that back.
Father loved me.
Kept me safe and beautiful.
He knew what she knew. It was her father that did this to her...
Oh how I'd love to dance around just once more.
But these cold legs, don't move anymore.
He reached out and touched her cold leg. His warm skin on her cold as ice porcelain.
You have such pretty eyes you know.
She looked into his blue eyes and he looked at her.
"Come on. He can't hurt you any more." She smiled at him and hugged him holding onto him. He was cold like her now. "You should live happy not as a doll." He said and she smiled. For years she was locked in that doll. Now she can rest. Just like he did.
