I woke up in the labs, 'I haven't been here in a while' 'I hope this won't be another "Test"' I looked around and saw different equipment scattered along the many tables within the lab. 'phew, It's just and examination' Suddenly the door opened and a tall fair haired male came into the room alongside a raven haired woman. They wore scientist coats with name tags that read Dr. Thomas Byrne and Dr. Natalie Monroe. Two more Humans wearing scientist coats came in. These were my usual examination Dr's, Dr. Alex Smith and Dr. Dave Winters. 'Huh, never seen Byrne and Monroe before... They must be new or something' I was shaken out of my thoughts by Smith "Hello experiment 09" I was silent I mean what did he expect me to say? Hiya doc how ya doing?! If he expected me to answer then he must be dumber than I thought! I am strapped down to an examination table and unable to move my arms or legs after all. Smith spoke again and the disappointment in his voice was clear "Not up for talking? Too bad. I suppose that means we need to test you and make sure you are stable" to which I froze before yelling "NO NO I'M FINE!" then in a quieter voice "my head's just sore from yesterday's test, That's all, I swear I'm fine!" it was silent for a few seconds before Smith answered "Very well. I would like you to meet Dr. Thomas Byrne and Dr. Natalie Monroe. They recently got promoted and so they will be helping with your examinations and tests. Oh and one last thing, Be Polite" before he turned around and left leaving me Byrne, Monroe and Winters behind. Winters decided to speak up after smith left "I will be supervising you for today but after that it will just be Miss Monroe and Mr Byrne" giving him a nod I waited for Byrne and Monroe to begin. They examined my sight, Temperature, Blood pressure and stuff like that. When they were done all three left the room. But they didn't realise the fatal mistake they had left behind, they forgot to make sure I was securely strapped down as they need to be checked before and after the examination/test because they always loosen up. I waited for a minute to make sure they were gone before I slipped out of the straps. I stood up and stretched, Man it was good to be able to stretch as when I wasn't being examined or tested I was in my cell which is tiny! 'I need to escape before smith comes back to take me to my cell!' acting fast I disabled all nearby cameras by hacking the computer sitting on the nearby table, I then ran out the lab and down the corridors. Sadly a passing Grunt saw me but I didn't stay, I ran away as fast as I could towards the exit, my way to freedom. I heard an alarm and angry yelling behind me as I ran but I ignored it in favour of trying to escape. As I ran out the exit I realised I wasn't safe yet so I ran into the forest surrounding their base and heard the yells from them as they realised they had no hope in finding me, before I got out of earshot I heard a bunch of other voices that didn't sound human and then I realised that those unfamiliar voices were ElementalChu, Team Rockets other test subjects that survived the experiments,. 'I don't want anything to do with them so I will go in the opposite direction' as soon as the idea came to my head I left in the opposite direction of Team Rocket and the ElementalChu. I glanced down at the chain around my neck and smiled slightly 'at least they didn't give me a horrible name…' as I spoke my name aloud for the first time in years "Urtiko… Esperanto for nettle" Grinning I climbed up into a large tree and slowly fell asleep on a tree branch
