Brittany as a character fascinates me and I don't even really know why. She makes me laugh on a constant basis and honestly I just love her. So I decided to write this short little oneshot about her because I really don't think she gets enough credit on the show. Anyway, I'll stop rambling, I hope you enjoy this and remember, reviews are love.

There were a lot of things that the McKinley high school population didn't know or understand about Brittany. They just categorized her as the stupid blond Cheerio who followed Quinn Fabray and Santanna Lopez around like a lost little puppy dog. They thought she was the stupid one who did things like keeping birds in her lockers.
What people didn't realize is that she's one of the sweetest people you'll ever meet. People tend to think that she's just a bit less bitchier than Santanna or Quinn. But really she's not bitchy at all. Not in the slightest. But McKinley high didn't really see her in action all that much either. She tends to be overshadowed by Santanna and Quinn and they just assume she's the same way. They don't see that she goes over to Kurt's twice a week with Tina just to hang out and dance. They don't hear her one day after rehearsal when she calls Mercedes out on being a bit too mean to Rachel, gently reminding her that yes Rachel could be a pain, but she was a person too and she deserved at least her fellow Gleeks to be nice to her.
They weren't there where after sectionals when Quinn had no where to go, so she got her parents to take her in, and they sure as hell weren't there when she spent what felt like an entire month and a half with Artie after everything that had gone on between him and Tina just being there and being his friend. They didn't realize that she was really actually friends with Becky just because she liked her, not so she could cheat off of her math tests.
No, they usually only saw her when she was with the Cheerios and they were doing something bitchy and they assumed she was in on it. They didn't know that she usually got so upset over some of the things the Cheerios did that she'd usually go find the victim later and apologize. They usually didn't believe her but at least she tried.
The population of McKinley high school didn't really care about it either, once they stuck you in a role, you were stuck in it until you graduated. But what they don't get is once she starts college and gets out of this God forsaken little town, she gets to start over where no one knows her. She can be anyone she wants to be, she doesn't have to be the stupid blond cheerleader anymore. Its a fresh start, and honestly she can't wait. Because even though she's never admitted it, it breaks her heart to think that everyone outside of Glee thinks she's just another brainless slutty Cheerio bitch.
