Darkness,
All alone she stands,
And as she takes her last breaths,
She comes to realize,
That maybe it was not her fault,
And that maybe she is just a pawn,
A pawn.
Petty pieces on the board,
Just for small deeds to be drawn,
Silly errands,
But though if she could make it across the board,
She could be promoted,
But it was too late,
Too late indeed,
The beast swoops down alight,
With talons drawn and beak poised to strike,
It goes in for the Final Blow,
She raises her spear for one final fight,
Something happens though,
She isn't sure what,
But something,
Yes, something, a divine something,
Reaches down from the heavens,
And touches her,
And she is saved,
Or so she thinks,
She feels like she is changing,
Changing,
I suppose she could even feel like she, herself, is rearranging,
Not just on the outside, but on the inside too,
And she tries to move to avoid the monster's talons,
A pathetic attempt though,
She is dead as it is,
She's so nervous she's practically sweating gallons,
But finds herself stiff,
Stiff as a log,
Oh, the irony,
Now her mind seems to be clouded with fog,
She looks down and sees the truth,
Where her feet once stood was a large trunk,
Then her mind is slipping,
Slipping into unconsciousness,
But no, she cannot make even a peep,
And she falls into,
An endless sleep.
Yes, I know it's probably terrible. I just have really bad WB right now...
