One day on berk hiccup wasn't feeling very well. He didn't want to tell anyone though so he slept in late until his dad came in "hiccup" stoick cried running over "what is it"
Hiccup coughed, "im not feeling that well dad"
His dad put a hand to hiccup's forehead and gasped "hiccup you have a fever!" he said
"I am okay for now dad" hiccup said back.
"you sure?" stoic said
"yeah."
"K well I'll make some soup for you anyways."
Hiccup thanked his father and went back to sleep while toothless watched him in concern. Hiccup's fever was getting higher as he could sense and toothless feared for his rider's life so he licked hiccup's cheek and magically the fever started to go down.
Hiccup smiled in his sleep and toothless grinned. I helped my rider toothless thought as he sat back down I'm a good dragon.
Stoick came back up stairs with astrid and they fussed over hiccup when hiccup said "don't worry toothless cured me of my fever he's a good dragon. I'm ok now"
"oh im so relieved" stoick said in worry "I thought you were getting worse."
"nah" hiccup said "im ok."
Astrid hugged him and they shared a moment while stoick beamed from the corner "thank you toothless" hiccup said when he was done hugging astrid "you helped me recover from my fever and im very grateful so you can have anything you want. What do you want bud?"
Toothless motioned that he wanted fish and everyone laughed "of course toothless" hiccup grinned "whatever you want."
Toothless got fish in reward and he licked hiccup again "hey!" hiccup exclaemd "you know that dosnt wash out bud."
Rumbling toothless ate the rest of the fish with a sneaky grin while poor hiccup shook himself from toothless's spit. But he was ok now and that had brought him and his friends closer than ever and so that was all that really mattered.
