A/N: Borrowing the Character "Max" from the book "Golden Boy"

It's like a constant sniff of Wolfsbane. Irritating him second after second. To make it worse, Max was actually his friend. Teachers had paired them together. They were both rich, had good grades, came from good families. They were bound to be in the same circle. He remembered the first time he met him.

He was very blonde, very shy, and smelt like shampoo, Banana milkshake and Red Velvet.

Now Max smelt like Mason all the time. It annoyed the fuck out of him. Brett should have told Max about boundaries. About High school society. The rich kid rules, about friendship food chains. He was openly Bi, but because of his status, no one asked him about it. Until Max came along.

"So... do you see any guys you like around Devenford?"

"No, I date men, not little boys" Brett smirked.

Sure, Mason wasn't even Eighteen yet. But he was Brett's boy.

He'd hadn't told him how he'd felt yet. He was pretty sure that the human woud be smart enough to figure it out. He was a honour student. He always stared at Brett like he wanted to make out. They'd flirted countless times. Well, whenever Mason was alone of course.

That's why it was a total kick in the balls, when he found out that Mason was dating Max.

It didn't make sense it his head. It made him sick. Literally physically ill one night. Which confused the hell out of his pack.

He remembered the first time that he saw them together. On Mason's precious bleachers. What was supposed to be a regular game, turned out to be one of the worst days of Brett's life...
