"That kid who was here earlier...who the hell was he?"

"His name's Ash; a trainer from Kanto."

"So what'd he do that pissed Eusine off?"

"Ash said that he saw both Ho-Oh and Suicune. Eusine refused to believe him and challenged Ash to a battle."

The first person, a blond-haired man wearing a black headband, t-shirt, wristbands, and pants sat up from the bed he was laying on and looked at his friend, "Figures that damn hothead would do something like that."

The other looked near identical to the one who spoke with the exception that, unlike his friend, he was wearing a blue headband, a blue and yellow long-sleeved shirt, and jeans. "Eusine isn't a hothead. He's just...eccentric. Besides, if anyone's a hothead, it's you."

"I'm you and you're me so you just called yourself a hothead," the first one said.

"We're not technically the same. I don't wear just black and your attitude's different from mine, Mortin," he replied.

Mortin looked at his double, "Oh really? How so Morty?"

"For one, you say what you think without thinking of the consequences," Morty said. "Also, you don't care much for the history of the Burned Tower, Ho-Oh, or the Legendary Beasts."

"That, my friend," Mortin said, "is because I don't believe in dwelling on the past. What's done is done and you can't change it so just keep looking forward."

Morty walked over to his friend who was now laying back down, "But history can teach people. Not only about legends, but people can learn not to make the same mistakes."

"Good point but that's about all that history can teach you. Besides, history can't teach you what I taught you," Mortin said.

Morty looked at him quizzically, "What you taught me? What have you possibly taught me since you first showed up?"

Mortin grabbed Morty by the wrist and pulled him down onto the bed. Morty felt his face grow red as his double leaned close to him and smirked, "I taught you how to stop thinking about logic and just follow your feelings." He finished this statement with a kiss; a kiss that steadily grew into more as the night carried on.
