A/N: Woo! It's been years guys! I actually completely forgot all about Xiaolin Showdown until a few days ago when I decided to look it up again and found out they're making a spin off show! This ficlet sprung out of my excitement... Jesus I have XS fics that are 7 years old... I wrote them when I was 12, and now I'm 20! Amazing how time goes by...
There was a gentle tinkling of a chime in the air and then Omi felt the slight breeze that followed. All was calm, all was well.
He focused his energy at the water contained in the little glass in front of him. If he concentrated hard enough, the water would rise in the air, like a snake, not rising using the breeze or the wind, but rising with only the power of water. Then maybe he could make the wind chimes ring. Wouldn't Raimundo be so-
The water he had been concentrating on rose, but it had slipped out of his grasp.
"RAIMUNDO!"
The dragon of wind grinned sheepishly in front of him. "Sorry buddy, you looked like you needed help."
"Rai, leave him alone. At least he works on his abilities." The tiny dragon of fire stepped around Omi and placed a hand on Raimundo's arm.
"But what's the point? It's not like something's gonna happen. It's been quiet for a long time..."
A taller blond boy lifted his head up from his mediation. "Quiet's good. It means that snake Chase Young or that bean-"
"GUYS, GUYS, GUYS!" The monks turned their heads to see a green dragon come rushing out of the temple. "Either my sinuses are acting up, or I'm sensing something I haven't in a while!"
"Shen Gong Wu?" Kimiko looked down at the rasping dragon.
"There hasn't been one in a while!" Clay said as he began to rise from his mediation position.
"I don't think it is, it's something else. But it's coming."
The dragons all looked at each other apprehensively.
