A/N: This very short, completely pointless, yet very kawaii fic was inspired by the time my friend Kayla was trying to teach me how to knit. I'm Ken and she's Omi… without the relationship stuff.

Disclaimer: I don't own Weiß Kreuz. I am but a poor college student who lives in a dorm and eats icky cafeteria food.

Knitting

"Ken-kun, it's not that difficult to knit."

"Omi, I'm clumsy and uncoordinated. What makes you think I can knit?"

Omi sighed. He and Ken were sitting next to each other on Omi's bed. Ken had seen Omi knitting and expressed an interest in learning how to do it himself. Omi set out to teach him. Lessons weren't going as well as planned.

"Just do what I do."

"I've been trying," Ken replied with a whine in his voice.

Omi frowned and looked at his lover. He saw tears in the elder man's eyes. "Ken-kun…" He reached over and ran his thumb along the lower lid of his love's eye. "Please don't cry."

"But I wanna learn how. I'm trying, really."

Omi pulled Ken into his arms. "I know you are. Don't worry about it. This isn't important."

Ken put down the knitting and wrapped his arms around Omi's waist. "You do it so well… I feel stupid. You're all perfect and I'm just… clumsy."

"Ken, you are perfect. Who cares if you can't knit? How is that gonna help you later in life?"

"Well, when we have kids, I could knit them an entire wardrobe," Ken answered dreamily.

"I think there's a slight problem with that, Ken-ken."

"I know. I was thinking of adopting, Omi-kun."

"Oh."

They sat in silence for a while. "I still want to learn how to knit."

Omi picked up Ken's abandoned knitting. After an hour, he had two knots completed. "Ken-ken, I don't think you'll be learning how to knit anytime soon."

Ken pouted. "Well, that was an hour wasted. It could have been spent doing better things."

Omi smirked. "Why didn't I see that one coming?"

Ken grinned and claimed his lover's lips with his own.
