A few weeks after Freddie Benson's incident with the major stroke a scientific breakthrough allowed Freddie to remember everything by looking at a place he knew. However Freddie began feeling tired and weak. Carly shay noticed all of this and decided to take Freddie to the hospital. They ran a couple tests and once the results came back they where devastated.
Dr: Freddie, you have stage 4 lung cancer.
Freddie: What's that? is it treatablr.
Dr: Cancer is done in stages and stage 4 is the worst you can get. The later cancer is detected the harder it is to treat unfortunately. The best we can do is give you chemo and make sure your oxygen levels stay up.
Carly: Doc Freddie is taking me to prom tomorrow, will he be able to go?
Dr: He should be able to go. Right now I just want him to rest. I'm also gonna be giving Freddie an oxygen mask to assist his breathing for now.
Carly: Ok!

The next day Freddie and Carly got ready for prom and arrive safely but twenty minutes into prom Freddie Collapsed. Carly shay called 911 and they come out. The paramedics get Freddie into the ambulance. The paramedic then tells Carly that they are going to breathe for Freddie. Carly then asked how that is possible and the paramedics said that they have a special mask that they squeeze that will help Freddie breathe. Once they arrive at the hospital they take Freddie straight to the icu. The dr's put Freddie on a ventilator so he could breathe while the dr's ran tests.
The dr's then discovered Freddie's cancer is viciously attacking his lungs and that all they can do is give him chemo put him in a coma and make Freddie as comfortable as possible.
