Observations on: training for Castelia gym match
Location: Castelia City

-Ash has called in his Torkoal to teach Tepig Flamethrower after Ember failed to inflict significant damage in practice

-Jessie has been trying to 'kidnap' Ash's Pokémon on occasion. Apparently gives experience and bonding

-Jessie's Woobat has been working with Pidove on Air Cutter. Unsuccessful to date

-Ash's Pokémon team at time of notes: Pikachu, Snivy, Tepig, Pidove, Roggenrola, Torkoal

-Moves used by Ash's Pokémon in training:

-Pikachu: Thunderbolt, Quick Attack, Iron Tail, Volt Tackle, Thundershock, Agility
-Snivy: Attract, Twister, Vine Whip, Aqua Tail, Leaf Blade (NEW while training)
-Tepig: Tackle, Flame Charge, Smokescreen, Ember
-Pidove: Growl, Roost, Gust, Quick Attack
-Roggenrola: Rock Blast, Flash Cannon, Sandstorm, Iron Defense, Rock Polish
-Torkoal: Flamethrower, Iron Defense

A/N: This is just a little side series to Et tu, Unova? that is meant to get the less important stuff like training or side character battles out of my head so I can focus on the main story. It will also explain Ash's Pokémon's move sets in greater detail. NOTHING VITALLY IMPORTANT will happen in this story, it's really just to get out some stuff I'm interested in that I'm not sure anyone else will be.
