I. I'm not scared of death. I lost too much to be scared. So death, I await. And I will enter with a joyous face.

A tinge of death hung in the frosty air. During the war everyone lost someone. Some lost more than others. Some though that the gift from the gods, the promise to claim all children, was a good enough price to pay for all the deaths. Some disagreed.

Clara was one of the Disagreeders. She had lost everything in the war. Everything. The only thing spared was her life. Her meaningless and half broken life, see Clara had joined the Titans.

She was one of the traitors. And as everyone else saw her as scum, no good evil scum who doesn't deserve life. She didn't kill anyone. Sure, she gave a few black eyes and she maimed a few but she didn't kill.

Clara walked along the sandy coastline of the cold beach, with her hands in her pockets fighting the hungry cold air.

Damn the gods. It was their fault it was so cold.

She had nowhere to go. She, like many others, was orphans or unwanted runaways.

And she had that feeling that her dad didn't want to see her in his house anytime soon. Besides he lives in Texas and she currently was in Florida with no money for travel.

And she wasn't walking all that way for her no good dad.

As she walked her head was filled with broken memories.

Clara was wrong though.

She had lost her life.

And just because she lost her life didn't mean she had to be dead.

There was a difference.

ii. Friendship is like a flower, beautiful but useless.

There was no place for friendship in times of war.

There were allies but allies didn't always mean friends.

Allies only meant they agreed with your cause.

For example if you and your worst enemy agreed that Vanilla was better than Chocolate than you would be allies.

Well, at least were Chocolate and Vanilla were concerned.

Friendship also didn't matter if you're so called friend didn't give a damn if you died or live.

iii. Love of course is a crime, during war.

They kissed before going out to "battle".

They never thought about death.

But when in love, logic doesn't come into play.

And of course, the girl is killed by a traitorous demigod.

And the boy, was killed by a pack of hellhounds.

Of course they were lucky.

They were both killed.
