Guys I'm finally back with a sequel to How to Tell Him I'm Pregnant. I went through all the reviews for it and saw that there were a number of people who wanted a sequel so here it is. It is set thirteen years after the epilogue of HTTHIP (that is the weirdest acronym I've ever seen, but couldn't be bothered typing the whole thing) and after the prologue, will alternate between the twins' POVs. You get to meet the baby that Mai was pregnant with at the end of the last one as well as the other team member's children. Sora is now 19 years old and you may not see a lot of him as he is in college now. For now, here is the prologue.
Prologue
"Eugene Davis!"
The loud shout makes a certain raven-haired teen jump and look around for the source. It happens to be none other than his maths teacher with a glare to back up her ire. "How many times have I told you not to fall asleep in my class?"
"If my memory is correct; one hundred and sixty-seven times this year," is the teen's chirpy reply.
"Don't get smart with me Mr. Davis; being a genius does not excuse you from paying attention. If I catch you sleeping in my class again, I'm calling your father," is Mrs. Green's snappy retort. "I'm glad your sister isn't the same."
"Well you won't have to deal with me again because we happen to be returning to Japan tomorrow where we will finish our education. Thank goodness; I miss Japan," Gene can't help, but get excited.
He missed everyone from his parents' Japanese branch of SPR, especially his best friend Takuya and his mother who was currently running it. They hadn't been back to Japan since he was thirteen and that was three years ago. He wondered how much they all had changed. His younger brother Akira had stayed in Japan with their mother and he wondered how much older he looked; he was only ten last he saw him. Akira hadn't inherited their father's genius like he and his twin sister, so he didn't see any reason to come to England for education.
"Is that so?" Mrs. Green's voice breaks him out of his thoughts.
"Yes, Miya and I haven't seen our mother and younger brother in three years; we miss them terribly," like he was gonna tell her that his father was returning to Japan to rejoin SPR there and take his mother's place as the boss again.
"I see; it'll be a shame to have someone like your sister leave. I, however, will not miss your laziness in my classroom," she sniffs. "You still have to get through today, so PAY ATTENTION!"
Gene, as well as his classmates, couldn't help, but cringe at the screech their teacher gave out. Gene figured he might as well look like he's paying attention since the class ended in ten minutes.
Okay guys, tell me what you think, R&R. I've started on chapter 1, but I'm not sure when I'll have it up. I have a basic idea of how this will go, but don't expect quick updates as I'm in my third year at uni now and the assessment is killer.
I have a 3000 word research essay due in two weeks, I also have three oral presentations, weekly online quizzes, a unit plan (I'm becoming a teacher) in the format of a website so it has all those awesome websites doobies, a critique of a unit plan and an exam to study for. (OMG, it didn't occur to me how much I had until I wrote it down and all of this is within the next 6 weeks T_T).
