hey everyone! i really have no idea where this came from, i guess i was feeling introspective...
well not entirely true, i have some idea, i was watching the end of brohterhood and it got me thinking, a large reason i love this series so very much, it makes me think.
anyway i don't own FMA but i wish i did of course;)
Equivalent Exchange
It is the law of the universe, in order to gain anything you must give something of equal value.
The two orphaned boys who just wanted their mother back, found a large family.
But humans are small, and from that view point it is hard for them to fully understand anything on such a large scale as the universe.
The would-be mother, who lost her child before she ever really had it, gained two sons.
So in their limited understanding they twist the idea, they bring it to their own petty level, a thing they can understand, and rage against when it seems flawed.
The man haunted by the deaths he caused, found life.
Humans assume that if they give something they think is equal, they will get the exact thing they sought after.
The prince trying to save his clan discovered how large it really was.
When really two plus two only equals four in math, in life and in the universe it is a lot more complex.
The girl, who felt like she was always being left behind, realized that she was a major support for those who she thought left.
So when something seems unfair, when it seems like all you are doing is giving, perhaps you should look around. You just might find that you really have what you wanted, just not perhaps in the way you thought you wanted it.

i'm pretty sure you can mostly tell who the metnioned characters are and what i ment by it... i think... anyway let me know in a review please :)
