"Here he is" Lily said, then stepped aside revealing her son to James. The boy was sitting on the floor clapping his hands whilst dressed up as a pumpkin, the little boy squealed happily as James remained speechless.
"Well that's different" James finally managed to say, Lily laughed
"I thought he looked cute, don't you think?" she asked, James nodded
"Adorable" he said quietly, he moved towards his son picking him up and smiling at the costume. It was round with a smiley face on it, there was also a hat that represented the top of the pumpkin. And his son seemed to like it.
"Oh Harry, this'll be a picture to show your first girlfriend" James said as he turned his son to the camera Lily was holding, she laughed and pressed the shutter then watched Harry blink at the flash. James smiled and rocked then boy.
"I know we can't go out trick or treating, but I couldn't resist" she said to her husband who laughed then began nodding. He smiled as he sat his son on the floor and got his wand out his back pocket.
"I'm sure we'll have just as good of a Halloween as anyone else" he half whispered, then murmured a spell making sparks of light come out his wand, his son squealed trying to catch them, James chuckled as Lily came and sat beside him.
"Happy Halloween" she whispered then kissed his cheek.
I know It's short I just wanted to write something to show my readers that I haven't disappeared.
