The Wounds of a Sinner's Heart
Was innocent at blood's sight
My beloved you stagger before me
I struggled to build my mask
Slowly growing with the world's insanity
Revolution starts to rise
A growing empire looms with deceit
My conviction gradually eats me
I face the mirror, a beast asleep
I conceal the hurt inside me
The tale of being burdened by this mask
I shall protect you as the world's lights fade
As for now in evil you shall bask.
